Yeah, I decided I'd level my archer.. (along with barb/veno/psychic)
But anyway this will explain everything from combos to skills even to kiting!
WARNING: Some guides may say different, but this is my teaching guide to archers, if you dont like then vote.

Chapter 1: Kiting and you.
Kiting, funny word isn't it? Well, it might be funny.. But it can save your life, its like retreating from a battle, but your really 'Not' retreating, your flanking.
Heres what I mean. (only melee mobs is a must to kite! Magic mobs too!)
You shoot a devilroot dryad(Example)
He comes toward you, what do you do? Do you sit there a barrage the hell out of him? Or.. Do you just run backward take a few shots at a time? Its the 2nd answer, why?
Becuase if your sitting there barraging, guess what happens.. He comes at you, hitting you with all hes got, now although you'll be dealing less, your archer criticals make up for it, Thus your survivabillity is higher, and attack is lower.. kinda like White voodoo of psychic, just strategy.
If you cant understand that, I'll write a basic map.
P = you
M = Mob
^ = direct up
_ = go down.
> = right
< = left.
O = stop

Those are the two, now look what happens when you hit the mob:

Mob is moving closer, what do you do? KITE!
M>>> P>>>> O >>> O >>>
Thats the basics of kiting. Dont go barraging without thinking first!
Chapter 2: Stats, the simple chapter.
Heres what I did, max my vit at 20 - 25, soon gonna cap at 30
But moving on, Str should get only 1 point per level!
Dex should get 4 !
Vit should only get 1 on a chance.
Mag, NEVER. (I did, and regret it putting mag there.)
Chapter 3: What I'm famed for, skill explaining!
Take aim: Heres the question, deadly shot is stronger, but 'about' same charge time.. Whats better? Deadly shot, but charge time is not for archers.. so lvl1
Quickshot: This one, may be quick, but damage sux monkeys!
Blazing arrow: Max, why? It adds damage to your skills! Meaning that stunning shot will deal 500 more at lvl10(blazing)
Flight mastery: Max this, when you have mp gen. (aka a magic hat with Mp gen +2)
Frost arrow: Max, slow is a kiting players best friend.
Winged shell: slowly max, becuase it can save your life and regen mana.
Lightning: Meh, hardly useful, except on wood mobs, I lvled it to 4, bah not worth explaining. So.. keep at lvl1
Vicious arrow: Nope, no sirrey! Never max this. Archers are famed for dd, not DoT!
Knockback: Lvl 1, only reason is, the range of pushback doesn't increase.
Wings of protect: Lvl slowly. Evasion is archers best friend.
Winged pledge: Lvl 1 would do, Why? Archers hardly melee, only when mob/player is close.
Aim low: lvl1, only freeze time changes, possibly worthwhile, but costly.
Thundershock: Level 1, only wood mobs need this.
Serreted arrow: Possibly, but archers arent DoT! keep at lvl1!
Stunning: Stun chance increases, so... lvl it to 10!
Wingspan: Lifesaver, I'd recommend atleast lvl3.
Deadly shot: level 1, only good for opening.
Thunder blast: level it, your best aoe!
Sharpened tooth: Max it. Lowers bosses/mobs hp alot!
Barrage: level it slowly. You know what it does, best aoe!
Stormrage: Level 1, worst aoe ever.
Wing of grace: Level it, makes you fast and immune.
Bow mastery: Why not? Max it!
Winged blessing: Max, makes you attack far!
Lvl 79+ idk. you choose.
Chapter 4: come on, show me those combos!
Combos/Macros
Archers only use combos when skill bar is full, that is all:
Chi builder:
Wings > Wings > Wings > Wings> (of protect)
Slower:
frost> reg > reg > Knock back> frost> regular till dead.
Make your own post some!
Chapter 5: Archers beat all!
Actually NO, they may be strong but they have weaknesses too.
Meaning they have a 50% dmg penetaly when mob/player is close, or even they're weak defense.
Alright heres the chart (imo who wins)
Sin > Archer
Barb < Archer
Psychic < Archer
BM > Archer
Wiz > Archer
Veno > Archer
Of course a veno would win, becuase it has melee and magic.
So, you see, if you use strategy, you might win these classes..
Strategy is a must know of any game!
Chapter 6: Your the DD of the party.
Yes, you are, and if you're wondering what DD means, its very simple, Damage dealer.
Meaning you do not:
TANK
Steal aggro
Just those for now, give me more ideas.
Anyway.. you cannot tank until lvl90+
Stealing aggro is what make bh parties mad, so what you do is:
Wait for barb to get aggro
Take two shots/three
wait
wait
Shoot again, then by the time, the boss has aggro on barb.
Chapter 7: The garage of bows and arrows
Imo archers are better with bows.. Why?
Archers need attack speed and need average damage.
but ok, heres the list:
Xbows = Slow, but attack more
Bows = Average speed, but attack average.
Slingshots = Fast, but attack very very low.
Thats the choices, but I'd recommend a bow.
Chapter 8: Ten notes
Kiting is your friend, learn it, use it, and shower down damage.
Aggro is key to learn in dungeons, learn your mobs! (mostly all fbs have aggro)
Arrows, buy lvl1's, they're the cheapest and best in ways of farming.
Get attack speed weps/bracers!
Try to party up when you can!
Remember your place in parties, or even bhs for that matter.
Take aim/ Deadly shot/ Quick should never be used, deadly can be at times!
Keep your buff up!
Ask for buffs, friendly!
